Soulful Safaris is an experiential travel management firm centered on ethical business practices that benefit people and the planet. Sukeerti and her team curate purposeful journeys at the dynamic intersection of communities, culture, heritage, art, nature, and sacred forests across the Indian subcontinent.

Practices Worth Studying
Sukeerti has spent close to 15 years in travel — as an explorer, product developer, and travel designer — before founding Soulful Safaris as a "pandemic-preneur," centered from the start on the well-being of the Planet, communities, and Self. She holds a Diploma in Tourism Management, a certificate in Luxury Marketing from IIM Ahmedabad, training as a Climate Reality Leader, and is currently studying Sustainable Tourism Destination Management through eCornell. In June 2023 she was named one of Asia's top three women advancing Corporate Social Responsibility in Tourism at the Inspiring Women in Travel Asia Awards.
One: sustainable operations as a lived briefing, not a policy document
Before every tour, Sukeerti speaks directly with each driver and guide — in the language they're most comfortable in — about sustainable practice on the ground: no single-use plastic where it's within her control, aluminium water canisters kept in the vehicle, cloth bags on hand for guest shopping. No new infrastructure, just a standing habit repeated tour after tour — low-cost and repeatable at any agency size, including a team of one.
A code of conduct only works if someone says it out loud before every trip. Written guidelines are a floor, not a system.
